<description>Well; I got my bill and with the degree days about the same 2250/2300 the new system gave me
a 40% percent reduction in gas usage. Yes --- 40% ! One happy camper here.

1) Along with the new boiler I had an indirect domestic water heater installed.
2) My previous boiler ( and hot water heater) got it&#039;s combustion air from inside the house, which in turn.s pulled in cold air to replace. My new boiler gets it combustion air from the outside via the pipe.
3) My previous boiler, 1975 vintage, was set at 180°F all the time. My new one has the automatic setback.

The house has been far more comfortable.

<description>Not sure how this is working out since I have not received a bill from the gas company since I had a
condensing boiler and an indirect water heater installed. 12/7/2009

But I was able to set the reset curve boiler temp to 160°F @ 0°F and 120 @ 60°f .

I have a 1700 sq ft house with baseboard heat. House confort has been excellent and there seems to be plenty of condensate. Based on the condensate forming , I guess it is working pretty
good.
